This past two years, I have been suffering from vision loss. I have been receiving monthly eye injection. It has been a painful and hard journey. Each time after the injection, my right eye is swollen, blood shot red and I get floaters. I also look crazy about 1 week. A friend introduced me to Reiki and told me about its healing power. The Reiki practitioners use a technique called hands on healing through, which the holistic/divine energy is transferred through the palms of practitioner to the patient. It helps with emotional or physical healing. Reiki can also clear chakrasDonna has been in practice for about 17+ years. Her center opened since 2006. In addition to Donna being very sweet, nurturing, but she is extremely powerful. You can definitely feel the heat / healing energy coming from her hands. This type of spiritual healing is beyond phenomenal and magical. She start off by taking negative/unwanted energy away and she placed her hands on the affected areas of the body that need the healing. It was the most sensational feeling. I felt I was floating in clouds. What makes her different is she also uses crystals in her healing practice. She listens well and took her time with her session. I can tell how much pleasure she gets from healing others. After my session with her, my eye is no longer red, swollen and the floaters went away in just one session. It was an unexplainable miracle. Donna is extremely compassionate, she also provides free Reiki session to Cancer patients. Donna provide lots of services such as clairvoyant readings, energy clearing, housing blessings/ clearings and dream interpretationThe only setback is her location is hard to find. I picked a green stone as it has healing agentI had an amazing and incredible experience with her. There were many Reiki Practitioners in the area, but I was very drawn to her. It says a lot as I am born with gifts of intuition. Reiki is a very intimate experience, you must find a positive and divine practitioner to do this treatment. WOW!!! Donna is the real deal, a true asset to the community. Her energy bursts with healing power. Now I understand when some people say they experience “fire” during Reiki.I am a grateful cancer survivor but the damage of Chemo, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant has taken a toll on my body. Side effects of treatment include graft versus host disease (this causes several other issues), susceptibility to infections and various physical/emotional issues. I’ve been a wreck on many levels. I was depressed, inactive, and felt hopeless. Sharing my grief with one of my special doctors, one of them, to my surprise suggested Reiki. I was familiar with Reiki but forgot about its healing abilities. Eureka! I am so lucky to have found Donna on Yelp. She has helped my life in so many ways. The changes are obvious. Emotionally, I am not depressed and I am looking at setting goals and having a brighter future. Physically, I’ve cut down on pain medication. I am reducing my dependence on oxygen. I am more active and have started exercising daily. I am not claiming that Reiki did all this. I believe you have to create your own change. Everything starts within. Nor do I say these changes were easy. For me, getting out of bed everyday was a fight, a fight made possible with the help of Donna and Reiki. I was blessed with a free reading via YELP’s Get Elemental Event last week and I have to say, Donna has a true gift. Since there were several psychics, my friend and I scoped them out. We figured that the back tables were more intimate and private for readings so it was between two ladies. When we saw Donna’s table with the angel whisper books etc, we both had a feeling that she was going to be good. I have always been fascinated by Psychics, people with special giftings if you will, but I am also a skeptic due to some bad experiences with shady “self proclaimed” psychics with little more than great deductive skills and word menagerie to make you believe they know something about you. DONNA is the real deal and here is why…. Donna spoke with me and 3 of my closest friends that night and we were all blown away about how accurate her readings were. Plus, it was very clear that she was not a hoax because she knew that my friend’s father (who passed away last year) wanted his daughters to know he missed them and even knew he was a post man and played with his “little black dog” (that is at our home now), without any information given prior. She brought my roommie to tears (sadness and joy) with this information. She spent time talking to each of us individually without rushing and really got the theme of what each of us needed to hear at this time in our lives. I had my first spiritual consultation with Donna today, and I must say, she totally rocks! She not only provided me with much-needed clarity, but provided me with additional insights that I hadn’t previously considered regarding my true life path. She was patient and thorough, and answered all my questions (and then some!) regarding my career, relationships, family life and spiritual growth. My time with her was life-affirming and uplifting, to say the least! I will definitely work with her again in the future, and I encourage anyone, regardless of life situation, to do the same.

My husband started his Reiki sessions with Donna about a month ago. The first one hooked him. He said Donna was on fire. He felt energy bursting into him. Donna is very patient. She explains what she does and she asks for issues that need work.My husband underwent cancer treatment/transplant several years ago and currently is dealing with post-transplant effects, both physical and emotional. The joint replacements (because of steroids that were given after the transplant) gave him back mobility but this is impeded by diminished capacity of the lungs (loculated – side effect of the cancer treatment). He had to use portable oxygen and struggled on a daily basis to walk even a short distance of five to ten feet. He was also unable to step up or down a road curb. His eyes suffer from chronic and acute dry eye (a transplant side effect). A wonderful doctor at City of Hope suggested Reiki. My husband remembered he had Reiki before when we lived in a different state and the sessions had helped him. We found Donna and since then, she is our go-to for Reiki. My husband has reduced his need for portable oxygen. His mental state is more peaceful and he wakes up now with some enthusiasm. As a result of the cancer/transplant, his muscles atrophied. His activities are extremely limited. Donna’s Reiki healing sessions have improved my husband’s overall well-being. We are now hopeful that my husband can look forward to a better quality of life after cancer.Whether you wish to improve some long-time issue (physical or mental), or you are battling a current situation in your life (again, physical or mental), please know that Reiki energy is (I think) intuitive. It circulates into your body where it is needed. However, the person channeling that energy is important. Donna is very good at what she does. She takes the time to listen, asks questions, and every session with her is instant therapy. We highly recommend her.

If you want a clairvoyant who is honest and cares about your well being Heart and Soul is the place to go. She wrote down things before I could even share anything about myself which made me comfortable with her right off the bat. She writes notes that you are able to take home and look back on. She also allows you to draw tarot cards that help you relate back to what you guys discussed. Such a beautiful soul and spirit. Look forward to seeing her again!

I walked in open-minded to it all but also ready to be disappointed if it didn’t turn out (this was my first psychic reading). In just a few moments, Evelyn was able to recite to me exactly who I was, some of the past trauma I’ve experienced, and the challenges I currently go through. Let me tell you, everything she said is way too specific to simply be a guess.We sat down on a couch, and Evelyn was very kind, informative, and warm. I walked out better prepared for challenges I face and with a better idea of how to address them. I highly recommend her!

I had a reading with Evelyn over 4 years ago and I wanted to provide an update for anyone considering paying her for a reading.Initially I was drawn to her because she had a $25 deal. I thought why not, what’s $25?During my appointment she said I was a healer, a nurse in a previous life, and a gift to the world. She described me being very scared as a child and only started to open up as an adult.She said my boyfriend and I would move homes and/or get a new job probably in the next 6 months, but definitely within a year, and that we were in the computer field. She said it would be somewhere local in the LA area. She also had a few other predictions.Well, none of her predictions came true. I mean none. Neither my boyfriend or I moved or got new jobs within a year after speaking with her. We use computers at work, but saying we’re in the computer field is vague. None of her other predictions came true either.After my reading, I reached out to a few other people on Yelp who posted reviews of Evelyn. One girl and I shared stories and it turns out Evelyn told us almost the exact same thing! She told us both that we were healers, nurses in our past lives, and that we were scared as children and grew out of it as we got older. We wondered if maybe we had a lot of similarities, but we didn’t. Evelyn was just scamming us and telling us the same thing. She’s probably told other people the exact same thing as well.I also asked Evelyn if she could connect with my late uncle and ask him why he committed suicide. She just gave me some vague response about how suicide is very sad and she gave me nothing that validated her abilities.Overall, I think Evelyn is a scam. She’s not a real psychic. I do believe that some people have the ability to connect with the other side, but Evelyn is not one of them. Her prices are tempting, but consider what you’re getting in return. For me, it was a waste of time.

I’m a lucky one here. She has a promo for $25 for $60 readings. Having done readings so many times with so many readers in SoCal last few years, she’s one of the top 3 readers who managed to put me in tears in less than a minute. The hardship in my own personal life has a profound impact on me, so that whenever it is mentioned by the “knowers” voluntarily, it often comes as a shock so to speak, my tears would just go flying out the windows almost immediately. Evelyn is very gifted for knowing so much by just looking at my hands. I came in with questions and was expecting them to be answered w the cards like a yes or no way. I was a smoker for 25 years. I have tried patches and gum and nothing seemed to work. Using the guided meditation sessions really helped me get to the core of my smoking issues. In combination with a cessation schedule, this helped me out down the pack. I’ve been smoke free for a month and am so grateful for her help along this journey. It had been a really rough year for me. After a traumatic event left my nervous system completely shot and my body depleted, I knew I needed something beyond just rest to get back to balance. Doing the “Calling in the One” work was a transformational journey and being coached by Kristin was a magical experience. I experienced a tremendous amount of growth and healing, and going through this work with Kristin was precisely who and what I needed. She was so gentle, and loving, and listened to and supported me without judgment. It can be hard to be vulnerable and I felt so safe with her guiding me through this work. After just one hypnotherapy session, my car anxiety/phobia is phenomenally better! For the last few years, I have had panic attacks whenever riding in a car, especially on freeways. After my first (of three) hypnotherapy sessions, I was able to ride in a car on the freeway for 4-5 hours without any panic attacks. I’ve worked with Kristin the past few years on various conditions – pregnancy, grief, stress, physical pain, anxiety, etc. Her distance Reiki sessions are filled with love, support, and you feel relaxed afterward! It’s like a huge energetic weight has been lifted off your shoulders. I don’t know where to begin with my praise of Kristin! I’ve been seeing her for years for reiki sessions, which she is amazing at. She is the real deal. She is lineage of dr usui, founder of reiki. Lately I’ve been having hypnotherapy sessions with her and they have been awesome. She even emails the audio sessions so you can listen to them as you fall asleep at night to help rewire your thoughts. I even got sessions for my boyfriend as a gift! Her tarot readings are amazing too. I’ve even had reiki 1 2 and 3 master level attunement and training with Kristin. I did a lot of research (for a year) and talked to a few trusted friends about their tarot and Reiki experiences, but still wasn’t quite sure what to expect…I was nervous and unsure. I’ve gone to Samantha many times and every-time her readings are spot on. It can be months that I go get a reading and surely enough –things still happen the way the cards read months later. She always makes time to explain everything in detail and she’s very attuned to your energy. If I have a certain question in mind that I want my cards to tell me she always ends up addressing my worries of that said situation without giving her context or the full scenario. That is truly mind blowing. She’s great , kind, and really understanding and compassionate. Definitely the only place I go to and trust for readings.

As with the other reviews, Janie gets another 5 stars. I was very hesitant in talking to someone because I knew I’d get the answers I didn’t want to hear. Janie did just that, but not in a bad way. This “stranger” knew exactly what I was going through in my life and solidified my feelings and assured my uncertainties. She helped make my decisions easier to make. The first thing I told my friend when I left was that I can breathe. My anxieties lessened and I know I’ll be able to sleep better. Because of Covid, she explained that face to face readings only opened up a few days ago. But even before I met her, she gave me the option of also doing a virtual reading. I saw her in June, I wanted to wait a few months before writing this review to honestly see if it was worth spending my money on. It definitely was worth it, she’s accurate, straightforward, and most of all super caring. Anybody could tell that she takes her job very seriously and always wants what’s best for her customers. Long story short, I had a hard time getting over someone and needed clarity. The selection of goods at this bookstore is amazing and I always walk out with something I’m proud or excited to have (stones, jewelry, books, tarot and oracle cards). They also have talismans and coloring books, as well as sound bowls and tuning forks, they really do have a little bit of everything for all walks of life. The service here is always tops and I’m grateful for all the employees here because they really know their stuff or a way to find out more and they give great recommendations whenever I ask an open-ended question. The very kind younger woman working here was sweet and helpful. I really appreciate her help and if I return would be solely thanks to her. However the much older lady who works here is super super judgmental. She was staring at me since I walked In yet never asked if I needed help, then she told the other lady who was window shopping that she needed to put the items away because she was afraid they would “walk out of the store” and turned to look at me. Then after went and told the younger staff member to have her back when putting away items if both were alone in the store. The younger employee brushed it off because she knew this lady was being a Karen, she also kept judging my jay z shirt. This happened about two weeks ago and I wasnt going to leave a review but a similar incident happened while I was at a different store to an older Hispanic lady and I felt the need to say something since she was shunned and stood quiet. It’s 2023 , I don’t think we should be judging people like it’s a hundred years ago, especially when you’re supposed to be a good vibe/spiritual healing type store, very scammy feeling so not recommend .

This place is so nice ! They have everything, and they are friendly. I came here for my first time looking for some Oil and roots. Then i saw a sign that there is a card reader name Jesus . So, i made an appointment because i have a lot of question to myself that I don’t know the answer. I was confused …..But to make a story short…. jesus is so amazing guy he gave me all the answers to my questions. He is really good and easy to talk . Now my anxiety and fear are gone. I didn’t go for myself. I took someone who wanted a reading really, REALLY bad. We yelped and found this place. Personally, I’ve never benefited from any “reading” I’ve ever had.So the shop is tacky, filled with creepy things that claim to help you find love, money, loose weight or rid you of evil spirits…I think I’d pay for weigh loss myself :p They’ve been there forever. I suggest you ask for Jesus (he may be the only healer there but just to be sure)Like I said, I don’t need this stuff, but my young, curious, freshly heartbroken, friend wanted answers! Jesus was incredible, he was more like a life coach with tarot cards. He didn’t freak my friend out with dire news that only an expensive “cleansing” can cure, but instead, advised her to listen to good advice and not to rush through life so much (among other personal things that are private) If you HAVE to get a reading, make an appointment with Jesus. I love that guy, I swear I’d have him over just because he’s so fun, nice, and insightful!

There’s a reason they’ve been in biz for almost half a century (less than half at this location I believe). My cusp of magic friend worked at a new age place during grad school but she quit and moved back to Texas when her real career took off. I won’t name the place or the clientele but the clientele includes A-list celebrities/models, some of whom are icons your kids constantly repost on Tumblr from their heyday and currently still relevant. Being in touch with being on the cusp of prophecy, I was always giving her advice but more so in line with adding informed astrological decisions especially under disseminating moon phases when my intuition is at it’s sharpest. I continued going there every now and then even after she was gone as it sold basics of what I typically look for until I interacted with new people they hired who did not seem to have a clue and by the end of my last purchase it would have been the third time I’d given someone who worked there, insightful advice. My friend also told me the new people weren’t very good and she always wanted to hear stories of my interactions with them to confirm. It reminded me of when I was at Yoga House in flow and the instructor made an astrologically inaccurate statement about the current moon phase – there’s just some new age places that are totally off when they try to play in that new age vibe but not all will catch it. Needless to say I haven’t been back after that major third eye roll moment. And I wasn’t even there for astrological insight, just physical flow. But if it is going to be mentioned it should at least be accurate. I decided to look for a botanica because I missed the groundedness of a real root work place and the airy abstraction of new age places was beginning to feel like a total drag. This is the nearest place, if not the only if I recall, that came up from Yelp searching “botanica.” Lucky!The last time I’ve been to a botanica and saw an ordained priestess was in Texas almost a decade ago. In LA it’s all pagan new age “hey kids wanna buy some magic? And maybe step up your Rennfaire outfit?” vibes. It felt so refreshing to be in a root work space again. I can’t believe it is so much closer to me and I’ve been going to all the different places (not for readings, but basic supplies that would never change for me; something about those places just made me feel like they couldn’t tell me what I myself can’t with my own cards – and since I’m familiar or acquainted with a few I definitely can rule their psychic insight out). I only go for readings when I really can’t figure things out for myself with my own cards and there’s a real veil I can’t seem to lift or pierce on my own and need further insight. Richard is the best person I’ve ever gotten a reading from thus far. I also came in having meditated on my questions in such a way to allow him to more easily access the answers. Even though I don’t get them often I’ve gotten them enough as a standard of comparison to make that statement…I’ve gotten read 3 times in Texas 2 of which were cowrie shell readings, once in Palm Springs which didn’t feel like a reading, and now. His tarot reading approach is unique, with stones, tapping into a lot more. He isn’t vague and had a lot to say. It’s $50. These readings tell you more about your spirit guides and ancestors coming through that support you (it is not a coincidence he gave me the same exact number of spirits with me as my reading a decade ago in Texas and included some same some new but accurate details to confirm the ancestors). Run of the mill hipster new agey tarot readers in Silverlake cannot tell you these things about the spirit world and are less psychically in tune; it seems they simply interpret cards that are drawn. While highly intuitive, most are not actually psychic. They could not pierce the spiritual veil as Richard did. I didn’t know cowrie shell readings were an option here but good to know they are, it is at $70. I love how this place sells Mexican Nivea, makes me feel like I’m really in another country. As with any place that “sells magic” I recommend you still try to approach any place as level headed as possible (although people might tend to get readings when desperate). Obviously there’s no magic to weight loss, for example; you don’t really need a sign to affirm whether or not you need to get physically healthy for yourself. With such matters, you either do or don’t. As much as I believe, it’s important to be realistic and put in your own work for yourself for these things to work for you (and why I like that it’s called ROOT work because that just grounds it for me). It requires cultivated self-knowledge and self-possession otherwise it will be futile because you’ll find what you didn’t know about yourself in itself is one obstacle. And when you don’t know or don’t know that or what you don’t know, ask Richard. Seriously. Best to bring cash since there’s a $2 surcharge.

….Where to begin….out of random chance and desperation we ventured into this hidden nook in the pasadena woods; The San Antonio BotanicaI called on a sunday morning hoping to make an appointment for a friend (who shall remain nameless). Weve been in search of someone “legit” and well…let just say RICHARD is as legit as they come!I wont go to much into detail on what went down that day but As my friend was taken to the back room I decided to brave it out and wait outside! (no i was not scared!) anyways…my then skeptic friend is now a believer! Richards card readings were super duper accurate, his shell readings as well and his ability to see things that were never brought up was on point! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND RICHARD to anyone seeking spiritual guidance…believer and non believer welcomed-hes pretty young but dont let this disourage you…like the say “age aint nothin but a number” if anything this makes it really easy to talk to him! all in all hes a cool cat! oh yeah and regarding the place…it pretty easy find as it was located in a small plaza off Lake, parking was a piece of cake and the shop itself was clean, Friendly, and organized! Came here the other day to buy a book and some trinkets for my friend. It’s a very well kept place, not like a dungeon or anything but like a cozy pharmacy but your pharmacist is a Santero priest. Good prices.Getting a reading from Richard, the priest in the back room, only cost me about $40. Very knowledgeable and a nice guy too; you can sit with him for hours! Full disclosure: as an atheist, I think all of this religious/spiritual/ magic is total hogwash.Still, this business caters to a particular niche, and who am I to judge (back-peddle: Ayn Rand is also total hogwash, but I do agree with her “we must judge” philosophy. Mainly because being non-judgmental is boring.)But I digress. The woman who is always here is courteous, helpful and clearly knows her clientele and products. I decided to give this place a chance because of the good Yelp reviews. When I got there, I was greeted by Ann. She was friendly and welcoming. I got a tarot card reading, palm reading, and chakra reading combo. Ann was able to give me a detailed reading about my life and also told me private info that I hadn’t told her. So I believed her and decided to get a chakra cleansing that comes with 3 sessions as well. She gave me a candle and told me to do a prayers. The first time I came back, she told me to do the prayer again. The session was extremely short and did not really have any new information. The second time I came back, she told me the candle was surface work and that I had to purchase a $3,000 piece to heal and clean my chakra. I asked her to describe the piece and she gave a very vague description and said she doesn’t really know even though she claims to have been doing this for years. She also told me not to tell anyone until after the chakra cleansing has been done, which she claims will take 20-30 days. I had asked her to give me some time to think about it and she was only able to give me a few hours. She never reached out to me for my third session which I already paid for.

**THIS REVIEW IS FOR SOUL PORTRAIT READING WITH SPANDA MAKT**As someone who has dealt with psychic hotlines, cold readings and just scammy duds when it comes to psychics/mediums I have to sing and shout Spanda’s praises. I first met him August 2021 for our 1st reading. I showed up with questions and seeking direction about my path. I was completely blown away by what he said about me. There were personal details he brought up that no one else alive would know– things not even my family or romantic partner would know. Those deep secretive details. I never felt judgment for mistakes or things I regret from my past that he picked up on. He had a wonderful bedside manner (? Lol is that what we’d call it?) and never made me uncomfortable. He was also gentle and caring when I had to stop to cry for a minute and compose myself when he connected to Loved Souls who have transitioned to the other side.I don’t have much posted on my FB or IG besides lame memes and food pictures. After our session, I googled myself on several search engines to see if he could get my details from me or my sibling on FB. NOTHING he mentioned is online. Wonderful store with wonderful staff!Very responsible with social distancing and hygienic practices. If you touch something, just keep it in your basket and it will be sanitized and cleansed afterwards! Loved the aesthetic and relaxing atmosphere of the shop. You’re immediately greeted by the wonderful scents of the candles they have lit at the entrance. There are a lot of metaphysical items ranging from crystals (cut & uncut), candles, incense, etc. Everything is labeled and the crystals and gems have their purposes and meanings written on neat little cards. I also really liked that everything is ethically sourced (definitely key!). Jenn was super helpful with all of our questions and was nice enough to give us general advice for people who are just starting out. Love the details and honest frankness she gave us. Very easy to understand and relatable. Definitely stop by !

It was all a big mistake how I ended up at this corner of the world. My daughter being a big kid now, loves this store. We found all kind of earrings and beyond. To mini pocket saints to crystals. How about that? If you are looking for a gift this is your shop and her prices are reasonable. Not cheap but not expensive. When you enter the purple door, you enter a truly special place. Then you meet Jennifer, who is like a professor of history! Jennifer was a sheer delight to meet, so helpful, and knowledgable. This is a great space! I’m not sure how we’ve never been here before, but I’m so thankful to have found it. The space itself is very open, inviting, soft music playing in the background and so much to look at, and touch…my wife and I just fell in love. The woman working was so nice and friendly, and didn’t seem to mind that we were there for awhile. Like I said, there’s lots to look at…different crystals, books, jewelry (which were all so beautiful), and lots of homemade items. The candles especially were amazing. I’ll be honest, I’ve had some health issues recently. Our reason for even coming was to look for a few crystals to help with the pain and discomfort I’ve been feeling. We were only there a few minutes and I felt so much better. I felt no pain and was completely relaxed. It was AWESOME! We walked out with a bag full of goodies and we’re extremely happy with our purchases. Ohh and you can bet your booty I’ll be back to take a class on how to make jewelry, or join the hike and trash clean up.

Christie is the real deal! I’ve only had readings done by a relative who sadly passed so this one was the first time we had one outside our family. I had a group reading, with my mom and sister, we were looking for closure in the recent passing of our loved ones. Booked a 50 minute session with Christie for my mom and I in hopes of connecting with loved ones and the experience was extraordinary. Michelle’s way of communicating feels like getting a big hug from your favorite soul sister whenever you feel unsure about life. Let me start by saying Michelle is amazing! I booked my first session with her about a week ago when I was at a really low point and from the jump our energies just clicked. I booked a second session (and longer) this week because my first session was so helpful and I wanted to dive in deeper. Michelle answered all my questions, was spot on with everything, and really helped me find a path forward. I’m super excited to see the predictions she made for me come to fruition in the coming weeks and super excited for my next session!
