Here’s my backstory: I’m an R&D & consulting scientist/engineer and a mystic, spiritual teacher/healer & intuitive. I’ve had readings from 290+ psychics in my life.Since I’m a mystic, my life is filled with Divine love & grace; b/c my mind is calm & quiet, it’s very easy for a good psychic to read me, but a poor psychic won’t see much b/c there are no dramas in my life to cause big blips on the psychic radar screen.Please note that when I visit psychics, I’m NOT seeking help w/problems, nor w/wishes, nor seeking answers or spiritual guidance. Rather, I visit them because God/Source asks me to, & b/c it’s fun to connect w/supernatural readers. BTW, I’m VERY good at setting boundaries w/people, like pushy salespeople & unethical psychics who might try to con/upsell me.So, when reading my reviews, it may be VERY HELPFUL to bear in mind what I wrote above, b/c your own experience w/a psychic may differ from mine; your mileage may vary! BTW, my reviews of psychics are for readings only, and never for extra services they might offer (e.g., healings, clearings, spiritual guidance).While in Jax, I called Yvonne to book a reading. I told her that I didn’t want mediumship (i.e., news from spirits), but rather wanted a psychic life reading; she agreed to this.I paid the $175 fee for a 1 hour reading up front. She told me that while I’d asked for a life reading vs. mediumship, in truth she receives all her info in words & images from spirits, but promised she’d keep it focused on a life reading (as you’ll see below, she was totally unable to do that).As I always do w/readings, this was a totally cold reading: I told her, prior to the start, only my name & date/place of birth & that I live in NW MD. I told her nothing more about myself until the last 18 minutes of the reading, and did so then only in a desperate last-ditch effort to try to get the reading on track, b/c it had been very nonsensical until that point.While Yvonne was sweet & friendly, the reading had major problems, along the lines noted by 2 other reviewers. For the first 35 minutes of the reading, almost nothing that she said — mostly a recital of very vague chatter allegedly uttered by spirits, or names of people possibly in my life or my ancestral lineage — fit my life at all. It was like she was talking about a stranger. I tried telling her this repeatedly, but she’d shush me and continue undeterred on the same errant track, totally unable to control, screen, or filter the nonstop rapid flood of largely-nonsensical chatter that she said she was receiving.Worse, much of what she related (e.g., claims, stories, etc.) was so vague that it might’ve loosely fit almost anyone’s life if they looked sufficiently far back into their ancestral timeline. The biggest issue was that even most of the things that she reported that might have been a bit accurate were totally trivial and irrelevant items, total trifles, such as trivia about an ancestor who died 150 years ago. Who gives a crap about such stuff? It was like visiting an MD for a migraine, and the doc ignores that & spends the whole visit talking about her dead grandmother’s farts. Like, totally irrelevant nonsensical trivia from far in the past!She told me that:- a long-dead crazy aunt whom I only met 3X is asking me to write a book about her? (NO)- I maybe had an ancestor named George who had a lot of books? (NO)- I might’ve had a maternal ancestor named Rosemary? (NO)Get real! Tell me something relevant & meaningful, not nonsensical trivia about dead people!She also tried some of the “fishing expedition” questions that shady mediums use, including:- Someone in your life died recently. Who was it?- You have an old B&W photo of a woman. Who is it?- I see a woman’s spirit near you who wants to talk to you. Who is she?She offered me several unsolicited bizarre claims & predictions about my health from spirits. As an intuitive, I knew that they were total bunk. As noted above, I advised Yvonne often of these issues, but she was unable to act on the hints to shift gears. She was also totally unable to see the big picture, and instead reported, at best, fragmented trivia.Each time I said something didn’t fit, she would ask that I sit on it for a few days and then it’d “click”. (NO)Yvonne is friendly, and she does indeed have “the juice” (i.e., psychic ability; I know this for sure b/c there were a few minor but detailed unique things that she accurately reported) but she seems unable to exercise any control, discernment or judgement (i.e., re relevance/usefulness) in using it & instead compulsively recites often-nonsensical babble from spirits. She unwisely blindly views all disembodied spirits as totally accurate sources of information. Despite the existence of these big problems, I didn’t get nasty or cranky about them, and, once the reading had ended, Yvonne and I had a great chat about metaphysical & mystical stuff. I’ve had about 3 readings with y’vonne. Each were amazing. This was my first time seeing a medium and I was a little scared. She knee things she couldn’t have possibly made up. I remember the 1st I had with her, she knew my past with my father, accurately predicted my reconcillation with him and where. I hadn’t spoke to him since a child nor did I want to, but it ended up happening. She actually predicted 2 of my future boyfriends. one was by exact name and the other by birthday. At the time, it made no sense to me of course. she connected with loved ones and even those I didn’t expect to step forward I heard from. she had messages for my mom from her brother and father who passed and when I told her, it brought her to tears. It didn’t make sense to me, but the messages I relayed made perfect sense to her. She even gave a message to sent to a friend who had a still birth and struggled for years to heal from it. She is great at what she does !

I do believe that someone can have psychic ability. I also believe that a particular psychic can meet individuals they can’t read. I am no stranger to psychics. I picked this psychic solely off of these reviews and I was really excited for the experience. I have to say this reading was way off. One of the furthest off I think I’ve had actually. I spent the first half thinking in my head “please just tell me if you can’t read me so I don’t have to waste my time and money”. Then after that I was fighting back my urge to tell her more so hopefully she could get in the ball park. I resisted because I kept thinking how can I trust your advice if I have to tell you everything. The end of it and the rest of the day was spent beating myself up for being an idiot,throwing away my money and actually thinking some clarity would come from this. I think Yvonne is a good person and based off the reviews I’m guessing she has helped some people.I don’t like leaving bad reviews especially for what is a small business but since these exact reviews lead me I figured I owed it to whoever is looking to offer a different perspective.Feel free to PM me if you would like more details.

Yvonne is amazing. I have spent years going to mediums and psychic counselors for guidance and for a way to try to connect with my loved ones that have passed on. In 35 years of seeing psychics, she is the absolute best. She is “spot on” with her knowledge of items from my life and such a great advisor. I’m in the exact same boat as Tramaine. I went to Yvonne based on the positive reviews I read, think she is a good person, and am not about bashing small businesses, but I do feel lead to share my experience so others can make an informed decision on whether to spend $175 for an hour private reading. This was my first reading ever and something I have been wanting to do for years. I am making some big changes in my life and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to attempt to connect with my Mom. I was SO excited for this moment. I had been thinking about my mom a lot, and wrote down a list of about a dozen things I wanted to connect with her on or wanted guidance about. I was just so sure in my mind that she would instantly connect and bring up things from my list and that I was going to get so much healing from this experience- too much “Long Island Medium” TV magic I suppose. Well, that was not happening at all at the beginning but I decided to keep an open mind in the hopes that my Mom would eventually come around. It just really didn’t happen. Yvonne was really no where in the ballpark on anything I thought we would connect on. In fact, it was only after realizing my father and both grandmothers were still alive that she asked if my Mother had passed. Almost all the “spirits” she was connecting with I had no discernible connection to and were also pretty vague/common (i.e. an old shorter “granny” type known for her baking, someone in World War II, someone had a cat, etc). She kept asking If I had a close friend pass (I haven’t), only to say at the end it must have been my Mom since we were so close. Also, the messages she “received” were very vague and things anyone would like to hear (i.e. “You left your mark”). Most of the names she brought up I had no connection to. The few things that were accurate were that I had a black and white picture of my mom as a child in a frame, and that I kept her notebooks-nothing too revelatory. She was also very sure that my Mom wanted me to publish or otherwise share these writings, which upon reflection just doesn’t make sense at all. Most of the writings were song lyrics or quotes from her favorite books, and her journal entries were quite private, as was she. Overall, just a disappointing and underwhelming experience. I left feeling no more or less sure that (a) there are people with the ability to connect with and receive messages from past loved ones and (b) there is anything to connect to. Every time something wouldn’t resonate, she would ask that I marinate on it for a few days and it would “click”. My reading was over a week ago and that just isn’t happening- it was just not accurate at all. That being said, I’m still open to trying this one more time and am really hoping for a better experience.

Oh man this woman is crazy accurate; she got a lot of things to the T she even got a pick up from a friend who passed and told me everything about the situation, it cleared a lot of things up, Yvonne answered I’d say 85 percent of what I needed to know and the rest is just me figuring out how to organize and structure things! I didn’t really have much to ask as she pretty much covered a vast variety of subjects! She’s definitely the real deal Holyfield and I recommend her to anyone! Worth the money!

I can’t speak about the reading itself, in time I can come back and comment on that. But what I can say is it’s worth it. I think for me it was the compassion in her voice. Kelly really took the time to explain whatever I was confuse about. Her past prediction and explanation were correct. Just about all of it. I didn’t really say much, just confirming a few things here and there. The prices are good and time is flexible if you only have about 10 min to do a quick reading that’s an option! I do tarot myself and she gave some really good advice to help me on my adventures. I don’t ever comment on readings but Kelly really switch up the experience for me in a positive way.

I had my first reading ever with Shari today. She was wonderful! She walked through the entire process and gave me a spot on reading! There’s no way she could’ve known the things from the past without knowing me and my family. She gave me a sense of relief that my late husband was in a good place. My boyfriend and I both got readings palm readings for the first time from Ann, she was amazing! Her prices seemed very reasonable and her readings were super accurate. She know both of our #1 individual needs and gave us advice on them. It made me feel better to simply know that someone else understood what I was going through. When I retold the story of what Ann said to me during the reading I started to cry because she was spot on without me telling her anything about myself.

I wish I could leave zero stars, but I can’t! I called two days ahead and booked an appointment for Sunday which had said on the website it was open on at that time; I show up on Sunday and it turns out they are closed even though I called the right number, booked an appointment and then they’re closed and I can’t even get my palm reading, never going back!

There are 3 types of reading this young lady does for her clients. The first one is the palm reading $20, second one is the tarot card reading $45, and the third one is past present and future reading $70. This was my first time and I was feeling really lost and I need some conformation and I past by while I was driving and I decided to stop by. I asked the universe if this is not what I am supposed to be doing then make me turn around… But Ann opened the door. Very nice and clean place so I walked in. She started talking very loud as if I was def or she was def. I pick the 3rd package of $70. I told myself I am here I want the full experience. I left feeling cheated, still lost, and confused. I felt if I would have just gotten the $20 package she would have told me the same thing. So to all new visitors to this Ann the psychic reader get the $20 reading because she is going to tell you the same thing that she did for me in the $70 reading. I feel that it is just all about the money with Ann the psychic reader on Mayport Rd. Sorry I was not satisfied with her. Maybe that’s what I get for waisting my hard earned money to something like this.

Got a reading from her back in 2012, NONE of her so called “predictions” came true- not ONE. It’s amazing how high-end advertising influences so many people who are clueless. I’ve been seeing psychics for over 40 yrs, she’s a scam who knows how to manipulate people through evasive psychological means. Beware

I haven’t been in years and when I popped in the other day, I found they had moved! The new location is great and the staff very helpful. I was having an emotionally trying day, supporting a friend, and decided to take a few minutes to decompress and stop by Spiritual Uplifts. When I entered, I was greeted and told about the Aura and Chakra readings- which I dismissed because of my emotional state- I was a hot mess and figured it wouldn’t be a great idea. After walking around the store and eyeing a few crystals I saw the list of readings and examples and asked about pricing and guess what!? I did a reading. Funny thing- when it started my chakras were a hot mess and in the 5-10 minutes it took to complete the reading I had calmed enough that I was balancing my own chakras. A nice reminder that I can regulate my nervous system on my own if I just take a few moments. My little orange calcite sphere I picked out was only mine temporarily- apparently I bought it for a wonderful little man who needed a smile that day. But I am very happy with my gorgeous flourite tower! My friend already wants me to take her there so we can do readings together! Literally uplifted my spirit on the day I went in, so thank you for that and I’ll be back!

Beautiful little shop with a huge variety of anything you could want. Very friendly service and I loved how each crystal had an explanation of what it should be used for and you could take one of them with you in case you forgot. I inquired about the readings which I think were exceptionally expensive although I’m used to a metaphysical shop where the talent merely asked for donations (which I’m sure was one of a kind). I just think $90 for a 30 min tarot is a bit steep. Will def be coming back

I absolutely love Spiritual Uplifts! The store has such a homey and welcoming feel with experts that help you at every step, should you need it. The store is beautifully laid out and masterfully labeled. Lynn, the store’s owner, has done wonders in my healing and my spiritual journey. I just had a Reiki treatment with Lynn, and OMG doesn’t begin to describe my experience! I felt like 100 lbs of emotional crap was lifted off my back! I also noticed my sense of smell is more acute than it was before! Instead of a general smelling, I noticed layers of whatever smell hits my nose! That’s crazy! If you have never had a Reiki treatment, I can’t recommend it enough! My life has been changed today! I feel like I turned a MAJOR corner in my spiritual & personal journey! I’m definitely going back for more sessions and more healing! Thank you Lynn for allowing the Universe to use you as it does! I’ve been more than blessed today!

I saw this crystal shop come up in my searchesand thought that I would check it out. I was superexcited and made the trip over, but was reallydisappointed after visiting. The selection ofcrystals isn’t huge, mostly tumbles, and theprices are ridiculous. I really try not to priceshame, but these crystals were marked up about3x what they should’ve been priced at. Tumbleswere priced okay, but the mini towers, and biggerones were just ridiculous. One thing that mademe super uncomfortable was the way that thelady working was watching me and my momshop. She watched us like a hawk and made itsuper obvious. It made me not want to touchanything and look very closely at stuff. It wasn’tfun being watched over- probably to make surewe weren’t going to steal anything. If you’re thatworried about people stealing, put everything intoa glass display rather than eyeing them aroundthe store and moving as they do. It was weird andmade me want to leave. Some of the crystalswere also mislabeled which is lazy (coming fromsomeone who collects crystals and is veryknowledgeable about them). The lady workingalso didn’t know that some of the crystals in aglass display were aura coated even though it’spretty obvious to tell. The constant stare on myback and the injection into my conversation waspretty unappealing and I won’t be visiting thisstore again.Update: the shop responded to my google review and said they’d be contacting a lawyer (haha) for my review, but recently took that part out and added in some other crap. I think that is extremely funny because they realized they don’t have any ground to stand on. Super unprofessional and downright embarrassing! Should’ve given 1 star.

I highly recommend this Healing Arts Studio….Very calm and relaxing.I received the myofascial release treatment and felt relaxed and taller upon leaving studio. Two weeks later I am still feeling the benefits, and I have a very stressful profession..Looking forward to scheduling appointment soon for deep tissue massage and reiki session.Very nice location and very sanitized.My only regret, I should have been going to Caring Palms Healing Arts long ago.

Caring Palms is a great place! I’ve had multiple services from Brian including Myofascial Release, a Reiki session, and a class. The MFR massage lasted for nearly a month and the reiki session was very calming, caring, and warm. I took the Reiki Level I class today and absolutely loved it. The class size was smaller than usual because of COVID but I think that actually made it better. We learned a out history of reiki and even some myths. We got to spend plenty of time doing hands on practice with ourselves (for self healing) and our classmates. Finally, we learned the ins and outs of setting up a business and received our first attunement! We liked our class so much we all decided to take the Level II class together!

Had a great integrative massage with Monique. Very relaxing environment and Monique is very attentive to your physical needs. I felt very comfortable with her and the price was reasonable as well. She put some essential oils on the head piece to keep my nasal passages open while I was prone, it was pleasant. I was very relaxed and felt great afterwards. I look forward to trying out the myofascial release and reiki!

Moniq provides the most relaxing and informative massage experience! She is so attentive and accommodating – from the oils and scents used, to the bed temperature. At the end of my deep tissue massage, Moniq took the time to discuss next steps and even provided helpful yoga stretches to adjust minor posture concerns. I will absolutely return and highly recommend Moniq @ Caring Palms!

I have being feeling so supremely good after my reiki sessions with Brian Dean that it is hard to remember what my life was like before them! My energy has shifted so much that people have actually commented on my “positive energy.” Caring Palms is such a gem and I’m so glad I found it. They even offer classes/workshops on ascension theory and past life regression, so there is a realcommunity here- to get healed and learn more about healing. I have been dealing with chronic pain in my hip for which myofascial release massage and reiki have worked wonders. Though, honestly I’m just relieved and inspired by how much my anxiety has quelled with reiki sessions. My mind no longer feels scattered and ungrounded. I always leave feeling warm, Whole, and grounded, and able to tackle any obstacle I may face.I cannot recommend them enough!!Also it’s very easy to book appointments online, which I love!

This was my first Reiki Healing session. Ted and Alice are both very wonderful, informative and accommodating. They explained the different services available and some of the different things I may experience during the session. I laid on a massage type table on my back with my eyes closed. During the process Ted never touched me. However, I could feel different sensations in various parts of my body. I felt burning through my left arm from my shoulder to my fingers. I experienced a release of emotions that brought me to tears. I had involuntary REM at times and a couple of mild heart palpitations. I also saw a very bright white light that I felt as well.When the session ended I shared the various things I’d experienced with them. Tom then shared what he felt and explained the status of each of my chakras. He severed the negative attachments to me and surrounded me with a white cloak of protection.This was a very positive and enlightening experience! I look forward to future visits with them to experience some of the other services they offer!

I had the opportunity to experience Reconnective Healing with Ted at my church’s Psychic Fayre recently. Reconnective Healing is an alternative holistic healing technique using energy frequencies. My session lasted about 20 minutes where I was lying down on a massage table with my eyes closed. I am familiar with Reiki Energy Healing, but this was much more than that. It’s hard to really explain what I felt, but basically I felt a lightness and connection with a beautiful, strong energy while I was receiving my treatment. They say everyone experiences something different, but I had this amazing inner visual image of my light body (a glowing silhouette) and my physical body in rainbow colors shattering around it. And then I felt this complete calm and I was totally relaxed afterwards. I felt extremely balanced and at ease.Overall, I was amazed at how great I felt. I did have to sit for about 10-15 minutes to feel like I was back in my body, but I do feel I received a deeper healing than what I’ve normally felt with my Reiki sessions. I highly recommend trying a session or two with Ted as he is probably the only trained Reconnective Healing Practitioner in the Jacksonville area. My results were effective and immediate. Great experience so far and looking forward to continuing to work with Ted and Alice! I’ve had reiki and EmotionCode sessions for my cat that produced noticeable positive results — the EmotionCode has brought her back to the peace, snuggling, and playfulness she had a while ago and she even got along better with my parents’ pets as well!

I had a house cleansing and reiki done by Ted and it was a great experience that I would highly recommend. He takes time and explains everything. He and his wife were very welcoming and everything felt comfortable and safe. I’ll definitely do this again.

I had such a great experience. Ted and his wife are beautiful souls that provided lots of help and guidance. I’ll definitely go back for another session. They actually took the time to get to know my intentions and guided me at the beginning of the session. Highly recommended!!
