My husband and I travel a lot and we like to go to a variety of psyics from time to time. We have been to many of course that are get in and get out want your money and be on your way. Margaret a year ago to date before our wedding day, picked her off the Internet in a are we were getting married in which was Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was very nice and takes her work very seriously. She is not your ordinary psyic, this woman has a gift, she told us things that has come to past and a particular incident that is now unfolding as we speak and I didn’t realize u till my husband reminded me while sitting on the couch last night. I had to write a review because I was going to get in touch with her again, I am now 6 hours away but am willing to go see her, call me crazy if you will but she is not anything short of a true gifted fortune teller. She’s very honest and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Very cute little shop! I stumbled across this store with a friend, and we were both pleased with the amount of product they had inside. They have crystal bins with tiny stones that are perfect for kids to sift through. They have some nice bigger pieces as well, and some chime candles and other items, depending on what your interest is. The staff is extremely kind and really helpful. I took one star off because some of their citrine appears to be heat treated amethyst. They do label the genuine citrine, but if you want actual citrine, you will need to watch for this! Overall, a great shop that I already revisited two more times, and I’m sure I’ll be back again!

Very nice selection of crystals and minerals in a friendly setting. Prices are a bit higher compared to other locations on certain items, but a bit lower on most of their amethyst. Very kind employees too ^^

I’ve passed by this place numerous times, but never really had a reason to visit before. I figured it was a hippy place that sold hookahs, incense, holistic snake oil and psychic crystals to restore your inner chi or whatever. It actually is all that, but it also has an impressive selection of gems and minerals and this is why a friend suggested we go. He’s a big-time rock hound and is into collecting. My kids have also shown an interest in collecting mineral and gem specimens and so I went with the thought that I might get something for them. First of all, the store does have a pretty impressive array of stones that are very well organized. They also have a great selection of different incenses and scented candles (my oldest is pretty sensitive to odors and so really loves these things as well.) The location is not inconvenient and there is a reasonable amount of parking in the back. So, you ask, why only 2 stars? Well, a few reasons: first, the prices are a bit egregious. I recently took my sons to a rock and mineral show in Wyoming and got them 4 times as much for half the cost. Second, there was a “psychic” there (yeah, I meant to use quotations on that) who was more than a tad annoying. Even though my buddy and I were intently looking over the minerals and gems, she kind of accosted us about doing a reading and despite the fact that we were clearly uninterested, we each got a card shoved at us. Maybe it was because we were polite to her, but if she was really a psychic, she might have been able to sense the outcome. In any case, it was off-putting.Last, and probably the most bothersome issue: the service is not at all good. The proprietor (owner?) did not seem customer or service-oriented. I mean, in the least. She was texting on her phone while a long line of customers were waiting to check out, then finally looked up and gave some excuse like “I just had to send these important texts”. Clearly, running a business is not the priority here. She also proceeded to chat up the first lady in line about housing costs or some such while everyone else got to enjoy another 10 minutes of standing in the line. This place really blocked up my chakras and messed with the flow of my chi…

Love this local shop for crystals, tarot cards, incense sticks and anything spiritual related. Staff is very friendly and they also have psychic readers on certain days. You can book a reading on the web site or call for an appointment. The readings are $40/half hour.Parking: turn onto Atlas Street off Lake Drive and then turn into the parking lot adjacent to the building. It’ll save you the hassle of backing up into the parking spaces The shop is across from a local coffee shop so it’s a nice place to grab a snack afterward.

An interesting mix of spiritual (pan-religious) items and gift shop. Love the hippie vibe of the place. Need an artistic affirmation? Worry stones? Buddha? Incense? Plus cards and crystals and also sorts of what not. Friendly not pushy staff who can answer questions but otherwise leave you to shop. Be warned if you have allergies. There was a dog and a cat the day I was there and really heavy incense. Not quite strong enough for me to need to leave but close.

A unique shop I go to for its thoughtful greeting cards and unique gifts. It has affordable ($7-12) (Aura Cacia brand) aromatherapy oils, beautiful scented candles, incense, and a selection of mindfulness / Buddhist and therapy-informed books. It also has motivational / best self guiding and affirming CD’s (Belleruth Naparstek, cancer recovery, etc). It sells rocks and crystals and has some jewelry. It’s a totally Eastown (artsy/hippie) vibe.Very kind and helpful staff and owners. It is located right next to the building of The Grand Rapids Pride Center.Resident feline George (?22yo!) sits in a basket or roams around the store. The owner’s golden retriever is around some, too, so pet dander allergy sufferers be aware. Also there is a really strong incense smell – personally, for me it’s too strong a smell (some days). They also have psychic readings with a few different readers who rotate days.

Unfortunately, this shop supports cultural appropriation by selling endangered plants that are sacred to Indigenous people and appropriated dreamcatcher designs. Also, all their citrine is not true citrine, but heat treated amethyst.

Very strange person. Flips out for no reason at all. Wouldn’t recommend. Very traumatizing experience. I am guessing she has her own unresolved issues and projects onto others and I wish I wasn’t in her target range. Update: After some rumination, behaving the way she did was absolutely unprofessional and disgusting behavior and I believe she believed she would get away with that because I am merely a single mother with a youthful voice.

She was spot in her reading about what is happening in my life and she also looked into my Astrology Chart and confirmed what had just happened and gave me hope for the future. Happy Women’s History Month! Celebrate by stopping by 12th house, a woman owned business. I’ve always wanted to go to 12th house but I knew once I did i’d spend ALL my money. I’ve been wanting crystals for a while and I’m happy I was able to get them here. I’m not very experienced in the crystal game yet but I didn’t feel any pressure from staff while navigating my way through all the crystals. the one thing I wished is if maybe there was a guide hung up near by or on each label of the crystals just a few words of what that crystal does. but I had my google up and was searching as I went so no problem. I got some very pretty towers and stones. I also picked up some lavender while i was there which i needed to make lavender honey. it smells so good and i can’t wait to use it. this shop definitely is a place to look for unique gifts or gifts for the bad b*tch in your life. they had beautiful hand crafted items and items with funny adult sayings. I really enjoyed my time in the shop and would love to explore more.

The 12th House GR is a great spot for holiday shopping or if you’re looking for something to treat yourself. The space is incredible and the first thing I noticed walking in is the beautiful mural featuring the different signs of the zodiac (or the 12 houses). This inclusive store aims to be a space where people of all backgrounds can come and see themselves represented, with lots of LGBTQ+ themed items. Many items are locally made and the owner, Sarah, is wonderful. I browsed books, stickers, keychains, crystals, jewelry, bath items, decor, wood pieces, snacks, cards, and more! I really think you could find something for everyone here. In addition to all the wonderful products, you can also have a tarot reading done or get a henna tattoo at the shop! I’m looking forward to having a reading done in the future and would love to gift this experience to a friend. It’s so nice to have another local shop to add to my favorites whenever I’m in need of a thoughtful gift! If you like Rebel or Spirit Dreams, definitely make a point to check out The 12th House.

12th House is in one word; lovely.A colorful, spacious, eclectic shop filled with nothing but good energy. This will absolutely become a staple in my gift shopping! Located in the same building connected to Gita Pita, street parking is plentiful.You’ll find this space to be very inclusive- filled with positive slogans and imagery, a refreshing representation of feminist and LGBTQIA+ communities, locally made artwork, beautiful decor, gourmet artisan foodie gifts, witchy supplies, incense, etc. SO many cool things to look at!Tarot readings and henna services are also available!The Tarot reading I had with Carmen was wonderful and she’s a delightful human.Can’t wait to return!
