This was my first time receiving a reading of any kind. I was blessed to have come across Megan’s yelp and see all of the reviews. Not only were the reviews accurate but so was Megan’s reading. The setting was beautiful and bright and the atmosphere and energy set the mood for a great reading. Megan was accurate in so many ways. Megan would be entertaining to hire for a party but if you want accurate information and help she wouldn’t be the one to go to. You will be disappointed. Nothing she told me was accurate. She doesn’t tell you anything that will change or improve your life. One of the other reviews states she is like talking to a camp counselor. That is a very true statement and honest. She’s a nice person but that’s about it!

We hired Megan to do Tarot readings at our Babychella themed baby shower and couldn’t be happier that we did! All of our guests raved about their readings, and it was such a special addition to the party, fit the theme perfectly. A quick note that it is important to flag prior to if readings will be outside (I was not aware of that) and make sure to book more time than you think you may need for large gatherings as we weren’t able to fit everyone in who wanted a reading. Megan was easy to work with, responsive, and sent a lovely thank you note afterwards. I would recommend for a personal or group event!

I didn’t see anything psychic about the reading. The reading was based on objects and cards and information I gave her, not sure why she got a high rating. I was disappointed after anxiously waitingall week for my reading. She wasn’t spot on that would make me raise a eyebrow, it was more like talking to a camp counselor.

I went to Megan again yesterday and I cannot tell you enough how her reading has really changed my life. She is so intuitive and really helped me notice things in my life that I either didn’t notice or didn’t want to acknowledge. The first reading I had, I was at my lowest and she called it out, said I would be there for a while but also that I would come out of it and where I needed to focus. It affirmed some things I was already thinking, and once I followed her words, my life did a flip. It was amazing. I go to her every three months and every time I come out refreshed, happy and ready to take on life. She is so welcoming, so nice, and really takes the time to get to know you and your personality. She will tell you the truth, both good and bad and does it in a way that gives you any info she is hearing. Truly, truly, truly, if you want to experience something great, give her a visit!

I would say Calvin’s style is “tell it as it is” and non-bias — which is EXTREMELY VALUABLE when you need a dramatic shift in your life.I’ve used him for business and spiritual coaching. On the business side, I was kinda in a stalemate and not clear where I wanted to take my company next. I didn’t really feel as passionate anymore about what I was doing…and my revenue was showing it. He helped me get clear by putting practices in place to find my truth and held me accountable. After that process, he helped me get a “next steps” plan that was very good and actionable that I KNOW I could not have done on my own. He help me figure out business activities that were truly time wasters. I’ve used him work through negotiating situations with my company — with better than expected financial results…(He’s been VP of some big companies, so he’s no joke and viewpoint is very strategic — no matter the industry). On the spiritual side, he is well versed and well studied in many religions and spirituality. He’s extremely intuitive. I’ve always been spiritual minded, but I realized I needed more 1-on-1 support to navigate more of my spiritual practice in my real life. I love his guided meditations and courses! He teaches a wide range of spiritual topics that challenged me to study and learn I TOTALLY ate it all up. I would say no matter your faith, he meets you where you are and brings you up! If there is one word I could use to describe my experience with Calvin it would be FREEDOM. From the beginning of the session his calming energy puts you at ease as you await with anticipation. I have been to so many psychic in my life. So I’m very caution, and skeptical because most of them just tell you what you want to hear to get your money. Until I find Crystal. I love this place so much! When I first came I was overwhelmed by how strong the energy is when you enter, but it’s such a good energy. The owners are SO sweet, caring, and helpful. There’s an assortment of incense, candles, sage, and what ever you need for your spiritual journey. Another reason I adore the people here – my mom was in the hospital a while back and I came here and damn near started crying. One of the owners walked to the back and came back with a bath salt for me to cleanse and worry stone for my mom…man. Just talking about it gets me sappy lol, that was so kind and thoughtful. This shop is literally my “happy place”.

I am a Dallas local and started my spiritual journey not too long ago. I have gone into the Labyrinth a few times and they have always been so helpful! I lived in the neighborhood for several years and never knew it was there!! They are so friendly, very knowledgeable, have a fantastic selection of candles, oils, herbs, tarot cards, and anything else you are interested in. I haven’t open my deck that I just purchased but will update once I do with pictures. Also, this is posted during COVID19 times, and I am happy to report that They were following CDC guidelines and were very respectful when reminding shoppers to stay 6 feet apart. A lovely little shop! Whether you’re looking for specific supplies (tarot cards, pendulums, etc.) or just great incense and candles, this is a wonderful place to visit. The ladies who work here are so sweet; they’re always ready to help answer questions. This shop also has over 500(!) herbs including harder find ones. They have a nice selection of books too, and their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

When I first walked through the door of Labyrinth, I was instantly enveloped in a beautiful light…soft, warm, and safe. The ladies were so sweet and helpful in answering my many questions. It’s an average store. The crystal rocks are small and poor quality. Better ones can be found online. The incense can be bought at your local 7/11. They don’t have much of a good selection of tarot cards. You’d think they would have a better selection of crystal rocks and tarot cards. The deck I purchased was missing two cards. 76 cards not 78. Their homemade candles weren’t great. “Art of the Root” on Amazon sells better homemade candles. Other than one of the witches being extremely grumpy I would rate this store 2stars only for the mystical ambience. Dim lights and lines of beads above each doorway. I felt no power there. No true empaths there. It was for show and the locals buy into it.

Such a cool and quirky holistic shop! They have a bit of everything. I ended up leaving with some jasper and a rose of Jericho, which was reasonably priced. You feel comforted upon entering because the vibe of this place is immaculate. I also love how the rooms are organized into earth, water, and fire- first time seeing that in a crystal shop. Thankful to know of this place!

Bri is so SWEET! I had a bit of a rough day at work, and I was led to the perfect recipe of crystals to pick-me-up. I always feel so calm coming inside, and I love just walking around and seeing all the new goodies. Best metaphysical shop in the area!

Great atmosphere! Everyone was so friendly and helped me with all the questions I had. I had just came from visiting the another metaphysical shop in Dallas and it was a horrible experience, so coming here was like a breath of fresh air I really felt grounded. I got some good crystals with affordable pricing and they even cleanse your items for you.

Yay! I found my second home. This place is absolutely beautiful, organized and clean. I walked in 15min before closing which I felt awful for so I planned to get one thing and hurry out. But then I met Reuben!! OMG he’s so patient and knowledgeable. I ended up staying thirty minutes just learning from him! He told me there’s classes as well which I can’t wait to sign up for. Throughout the store there’s plenty of little cards that explains what everything does which is super helpful and I’ve never seen in a store like this. Even the receipt they send you says exactly what you got and what it does. I’ve been to several stores like this throughout DFW and this one is by far the best 🙂

I was jogging past this place and saw a sign for $10 readings. Went in out of pure curiosity. Did not receive a card reading. Just a lady telling me things about myself and asking me to make 2 wishes. The scamming attempts quickly began from that point. This ended with this woman trying to convince me that my ex-friend had put a hex on me and she would need $250 to get to the bottom of it and cleanse me.Went from fun and interesting to odd and offensive real quick.

A friend and I were looking for a fun way to kill an hour or so, so we decided to find a place to have our cards read. We stopped into Psychic Scarlet, located in Oak Cliff. A man and woman (and two small children) greeted us and let us know of their services and prices. We were split up – my friend stayed in the kitchen with the woman and I went into a small room off to the side with the man.I asked for the tarot reading. The man threw a bunch of cards down & didn’t explain any of them individually at all, just gave me a casual overview. The reading portion of our encounter was extremely brief and hurried. I was totally reminded of when I was a waiter and wanted nothing more out of my tables than to flip them quickly. Suffice it to say that it wasn’t long before he said there was darkness surrounding me and tried to convince me he could help me by selling me a $400 spiritual cleanse that would magically clear this darkness. When I said my very dry “no, thanks,” he changed his tune nary a whit.”What about 200? Could you do that?” My reply, once again, was no. Then he tried the ol’ swindler’s trick of asking me how much i COULD afford. I said nothing, that I was pushing it in my budget by getting a reading to begin with. He then tried a last-ditch effort to wring me dry: “Well, I could always light a candle and say a prayer! I could do that for $25.” Oh, could you? What a kindness! Afterwards, my friend and I compared notes. Her magic potion only would’ve cost $150 and a lot of the brief “readings” were the same for both of us but she had the extra joy of having the kids present and playing video games during her reading. JEALOUS.Look, I don’t expect a psychic with neon lights and an inflatable pumpkin on the front lawn to solve my life’s problems. I just want to have a little fun and maybe gain some insight. There are ways to actually read cards and these folks weren’t doing that in any way, shape, or form.I feel 100% like I wasted my money. It’s safe to say I won’t ever go back to this place.

Zero stars for this location bad service all this lady does takes ur money i wish we can find a way of demanding this fake people who just steals people money and also makes you get furniture for them do not trust this lady all she wants is to take your money. until now iam still paying on a laptop she made me get and she did not finish service any help on what to do should i just demand this place seriously.

Her name is Holly, and the only reason I’m giving her two stars is because she was nice. I got the 10 dollars palm reading special, the first thing she ask me was if she had ever read for me before. Shouldn’t she have already known that? Then she kept on insisting on other over priced (90 dollar range) special. The reading was phony, it was very vague and broad. It seemed memorized as if she had done the same reading repetitively. Lastly the atmosphere was bland. You could never tell you were in the presence of a psychic reader including the inside of the house. Save your money.

Just walking through the door of this place immediately makes me feel more in touch with my spiritual side. I think this association is due to the fact that I come here almost exclusively to attend their psychic fairs, classes and sessions (as opposed to only shopping). Here you can get a tarot card reading, communicate with loved ones on the other side, find out who you were in a past life and meet your spirit guides, just to name a few of the opportunities for spiritual exploration that they offer. Some of my experiences have been so enlightening and impactful that I would describe them as life changing. As far as the store itself and the merchandise they sell, to me it’s more like the gift shop attached to an attraction. Like most gift shops, it’s enjoyable to browse, but the goods can be a little expensive. However, these days with the pervasiveness of online shopping, it’s the price you pay for the ability to see/touch/smell items before you buy them.

This is a nice little store with a lot of things to look at. There is a little of everything…tarot, incense, crystals, keychains, classes, psychic readings… I felt like the prices were a bit high for the things I was interested in, and they were a bit pushy trying to sell stuff/readings. I would visit again if there were something specific that I needed, but I probably won’t go back just to shop.

The energy of this place was EXACTLY what my best friend and I needed. As two young moms with very little time away to have a little “us” time. It was so refreshing to come to a metaphysical shop and not only feel welcomed but have employees that were so helpful and kind. We happened to of popped in at a time they were having their psychic fair and we were able to get a reading. Such a great experience and we will def be back! **Update: great customer service, received a refund for two separate purchases with no issues.Purchased green and yellow obsidian crystals. After my purchase, I searched for more information on them and found very similar pictures of the crystals on a blog titled invoguejewelry regarding obsidian crystals being man made glass and advertised as otherwise. I reported back to the shop with my concerns and was informed that the crystals are derived from volcanic glass and still have metaphysical properties. Hard to believe since the crystals strongly resemble man made glass.

stopped by here today to pick up my first set of tarot cards! natasha was extremely helpful and informative about the different types of cards they had available. the lady i think was the owner offered me a basket to hold the items i had picked out until i was ready to check out. when i was ready to check out they were extremely kind and even zeroed out my new tarot cards. they also had a wide range of inventory from a lot of different types of crystals, jewelery and pendulums, tarot cards and other types of cards and how-to books, candles and a chart explaining the meaning of each color candle, etc (they had a lot more that i didnt get a close look at). overall a wonderful experience with some absolutely lovely ladies and a great vibe, i will definitely be frequenting this shop for all of my spiritual needs 🙂

This place is so amazingAs soon as you enter you can feel the high vibrations. My negativity became noticeable to myself! I instantly knew I needed some clearing work. I enjoyed a massage and reiki in their mind and body bundle by Hannah and she was so awesome!It was my first time doing reiki so I wasn’t sure about it but we had a consultation before the appointment and it was reassuring. The rooms have projected stars on the ceiling and purple and blue lights. So beautiful.It was very therapeutic and calming.I could feel a great healing power coming from Hannah and at one point my root chakra lost all the pain and I felt it completely release all negativity.What a true blessing.Thank you so much!

I had my first reiki experience here and I’ve been back once a month to ever since! The spa is so nice, relaxing, and peaceful and Lauren is AMAZING She listens to all the challenges I’ve been facing in life, and is there to help me through my healing journey. I honestly was so skeptical about energy cleansing originally, but decided I would try something new. This was literally the perfect place for me and I cannot speak highly enough about it.I recommend this place to all my friends. I had my first in person reiki and massage session with Lauren, the owner of the spa, and it was a great experience.The set up of the spa is serene and calm. Had an appointment for a massage & reiki session. The studio is beautiful and peaceful, which was exactly what I needed. Lauren listened to my needs and I was treated to an amazing massage and reiki. Massages can feel a bit painful for me, however, Lauren was very good at balancing pressure and movement to ease my shoulders and back. The reiki session left me feeling peaceful and Lauren’s insight resonated deeply. Hours later and I am still peaceful.

I randomly came across this beautiful spa and I’m so glad I did! Lauren and the services that are provided here exceeded my expectations. Sage Roots is a place I will continue to go to. After my first time there, I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I was able to quickly book a 90 minute Ying/Yang Massage with Reiki. It was their monthly special and I decided to splurge. It was the last weekend in my 20s and I needed a #treatyoself moment.The night before my appointment, I received a text message from Ashley. In the text, it had the location’s address and instructions to call/text her when I arrived.At first when I saw that it was street parking only I was nervous. Being from an area where “street parking” means “good f-ing luck” I was hesitant to book with them. But I’m so happy I did, street parking galore when I went and I’m happy that didn’t deter me.When I arrived, I texted Ashley and walked up to the sidewalk. She met me outside, walked me through the gate, locked the gate behind her, and told me to go up the stairs. When I went into their studio area, I felt like I was home. I’ve recently moved to Texas and I have felt like a transplant for about 8 weeks now. Being somewhere that truly feels like a safe place, is… amazing and very much needed.Ashley asked me questions on massage preferences. I looked at the table and got a little worried. I’m chubby AF and didn’t want the massage table to collapse, but it was perfectly fine (aside from a few squeaks).The massage was relaxing and such a healing experience for me. Even throughout the rest of the weekend, and even today, my body feels like I could be Jackie Chan’s stunt double. I feel awake, alive, and rested. The reiki was just as good. I had never had it done before but have always wanted too. After the session, Ashley and I were chatting and she brought up things that she “felt” I needed and it was something I was actually wanting to do for quite sometime. She even picked up to where I was from, which was equally as cool.I thought it was convenient that you didn’t have to bring cash. Cash only places give me a weird vibe. They accept cards, checks, and venmo too.Ashley told me that Sage Roots plans on having more classes. If they do, I’ll be so down. Full Moon, New Moon, Oils, etc. Count me in for sure.I look forward to going back, whether its for a class, massage, or reiki.

Cannot express how much I love this place. I would go weekly if I had more $$! Lauren is the best and I always leave feeling relaxed and more in tune with myself. I like their new location as well! I had never experienced reiki before finding this spa last November. I’m very glad I started doing a monthly chakra realignment/ reading. It has really helped with a lot of things in my life! 10/10 would recommend!

Treated myself to the November back treatment special and added the scalp and neck massage. Lauren is great! Just the right pressure and technique. Loved the sage burning and aromatherapy beforehand. The vibe there is laid back and comfortable. Great service for a reasonable price. I will be back to try other services.
