This shop is also known and listed locally as Psychic Readings by Christine, and Psychic Palm and Tarot Readings by Christine.Actual exact star rating is 4.6 stars, rounded up to 5 stars for Yelp review purposes.Here’s my backstory if you haven’t yet read any of my other 65+ Yelp reviews of psychics: I’m an R&D & consulting scientist/engineer w/a grad degree in the sciences, and a mystic, spiritual teacher/healer & intuitive. I’ve had cold readings from 305+ psychics in my life. Since I’m a mystic, my life is filled with Divine love & grace; b/c my mind is calm & quiet, and b/c I am open and very well-grounded (these latter 2 qualities are essential for a good reading), it’s very easy for a good psychic to read me, but a poor psychic won’t see much b/c there are no dramas in my life to cause big blips on the psychic radar screen.Please note that when I visit psychics, I’m NOT seeking help w/problems, nor w/wishes, nor seeking answers or advice, nor spiritual guidance. Rather, I visit them because God/Source/Supreme Heart asks me to & b/c it’s fun to connect w/supernatural readers.BTW, I’m VERY good at setting boundaries w/people like pushy salespeople & unethical psychics who might try to con/upsell me. So, when reading my reviews, it may be VERY HELPFUL to bear in mind what I wrote above, b/c your own experience w/a psychic may differ from mine; your mileage may vary! Also, my reviews of psychics are for readings only, and never for extra services they might offer (e.g., healings, clearings, guidance, etc.).I recently spent 6 days in Martinsburg in mid and late September of 2021. This review is for an in-person reading that I received on Friday PM, September 24, from Christine at her home office at 1110 Winchester Ave. in the southern end of Martinsburg. Her home and office are located on an older and slightly run-down street in an older section of Martinsburg, an area where there are no sidewalks along the side of the road. A lot of houses near Christine’s also serve dual roles as both homes and businesses, although I noticed that the sporting goods and gun store in the house located next door to Chrsitine’s appears to be always closed. There is almost always a metal red and white sign mounted on the small lawn in front of Christine’s office, reading something along the lines of Psychic Palm and Tarot Readings, with a tag sign stating that walk-ins are usually welcome.I had called Christine two days earlier, on Wednesday the 22nd, to set up the appointment for the reading. My reading was approximately one hour in length, and I asked, and paid in advance for, a tarot, crystal ball and palm reading.Christine gave the reading at a large dining room table covered with various eosteric paraphernelia. Her two small dogs, which told me that they had fallen in love with me, sat at my feet for the duration of the reading, each occasionally demanding some petting or a kiss; they were very sweet and very friendly.As I always do w/readings, this was a totally cold reading: I told Christine, prior to the start, only my full name and date/place of birth, along with the region/state in which I lived, which was all that she asked for. I cautioned her up front that I was not very interested in hearing predictions for the future (aka fortune-telling), since the future is very difficult to predict accurately – with the exception of a very few events that are fixed in time and space – due to human free will & retrocausality, and also due to Divine Grace and Divine intervention..  In the first half of the reading, the general life reading portion, where she was describing my general life history and then-current life with specifics and in detail, her accuracy rate was about 83%, which is very good.Incidentally, during the very early part of the reading, Christine accurately perceived, and reported, that I seemed to have a very bright mind and that I had trained and worked extensively in the fields of science and engineering, and that I was also a mystic , and involved with spiritual matters and spiritual healing, and that I had strong paranormal abilities in the realms of psychic and precognitive insights, etc.For the second half of the reading, despite my earlier-mentioned caution that I did not expect predictions for the future due to the attendant inherent obstacles that I mentioned above, Christine nonetheless insisted upon offering me a number of detailed predictions for the future. I have no idea yet if any will come true.Christine did not make any attempts to con me, nor to upsell me to other unneeded services.Overall, a very good reading from a capable and competent reader!

Dina is AMAZINGGGG. I would love to go back to her and I will be. One day I was at home and i just felt the urgency to see a psychic. I just needed a push into the future, maybe some guidance, and to see if I could get some confirmation on situations I had been thinking a lot about. And let me tell you, Dina gave me all of that. And I called her very last minute, but she did have a spot available for me. She doesn’t give me any dark energy. And that’s what I worried about. Instead, she really is just somebody with a gift that shares it positively with others. Which she also informed me. She could tell I was a little nervous and told me to relax, and made me feel comfortable. And that nothing she does is dark. Just about almost everything she said, ended up happening. Which each time anything happened, I was just in awe, like wow she told me a situation like this would happen and it did. Of course not in the way I imagined. But her prices are very reasonable and I would pay her highest price for a service that she offered if I needed it. Because I believe she is very gifted. I definitely recommend her if you’re wanting to see a psychic. I actually referred a neighbor of mine to her, and she went and told me how amazing Dina was and just how shocked she was at how accurate her reading was for her as well.

I have never been to a psychic before but I’m so glad I was open hearted by going to Dina. I was feeling so lost and wanting clarity but she gave me all the answers to the questions I needed. I feel as if this was very necessary for me in order to move forward with my life with confidence. She gave all that to me in the matter of minutes. From the moment we initially connected, Dina was caring, consultative, direct and focused on my spiritual well being.   My initial call was to gain a bit more clarity regarding her services and modalities and she took the time (which she really did not have) to share what to look for in a reader, key items to look for in a reader and most important her holistic array of services.  (Much more than featured on the website)Before our consult, Dina even took the time to call me to share her availability and assisted me with a better understanding of spiritual work and paying close attention to my intuition.  Was very generous, quite helpful and proved she is the real deal. Her consults encompass, past, present future and is both spiritually and tarot focused. She touched on items that few would have been aware of and picked up on my situations quite well.  Was one of the most detailed, caring and a litte bit of tough love focused consults I have ever had and I plan to consult with her on future items.

I did the tarot card reading and I was very impressed. She knew and could sense things from the cards that I know she could have not known from just meeting me. I believe that I will come back into the future for readings.

Dina is one of a kind! I’ll admit I was weary of readings and the idea of a psychic, but my perspective has completely changed after my appointment with Dina. The ambience in this store is amazing. The employees are very educated on the vast selection of items and seemed excited to show me all of the new things they’ve gotten since the last time I was in. I went in looking for a few crystals and left with a full trunk of candles, tarot cards, and essential oils. I have been going to the Book Shelf for many many years. Recently it came under new management and of course I was definitely going to be skeptical. After a few visits I find that I actually like it even more than before. They seem to have amped up the amount and variety of occult and mystic items and they still have great books at great prices. I even did a Tarot reading from Megan yesterday which was a really fun experience. I highly recommend this place and the new management!

I took Rob’s new spiritual life foundation course. It was a trial run for the work Rob will be doing later on. There are a lot of life coaches but Rob is one of a kind. I went in thinking that I will get a few tips for establishing a spiritual life. With meeting Rob for a personal session and this one course showed me that I will always have lots to learn and am humbled by it. Albeit I am on the young side but it’s a nice realization to have for the sake of your own growth. These days there are so many things in this world that pull us apart that we forget the foundation for bringing it all back together to be our authentic selves. Rob not only has a unique approach but a friendly one too. A good teacher/spiritual mentor or life coach will not give you anything but point you towards the treasure that is innately your joy and most optimal life.
